Where are you located?

Our office is conveniently located at 1285 Broad Street, 2nd Floor, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. 

Parking is available in front of the building and in the back lot. Enter through the first ramp on the side of the building near the martial arts studio, where you’ll find an elevator or stairs to the second floor. Look for the Arch Wellness sign. 

*To new parents, all babies are welcome and we’re happy to assist with office access if needed.

Yes, we offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to all prospective clients. This brief conversation helps us understand your immediate needs and ensure our practice is the right fit for you.

You can schedule your consultation through our website, or if you don’t see a time that works for you, simply reach out to us through our website contact form or by emailing admin@therapystory.net and we’ll find a time that fits your schedule.

Your journey with us begins with a free 15-minute phone consultation, where we’ll work to understand your needs and ensure our practice is the right fit for you.

If we’re aligned, we’ll schedule your first 60-minute intake session and send you access to our secure client portal to complete your paperwork. From there, your therapist will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that honors your unique story and goals.

Intake: 60 minutes
Individual therapy: 45 minutes
Couples therapy: 60 minutes

This structure allows us to provide the appropriate time and attention for each type of therapy and ensures you receive the support you need.

Yes, we offer a variety of workshops including our Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders Group, Bringing Baby Home Workshop, and customized Mental Health Workshops for businesses. 

Each program is designed to create a supportive environment where you can connect with others facing similar challenges while gaining valuable tools and insights tailored to your specific needs.

As a Therapy Story client, you’ll benefit from our strong community connections and multidisciplinary approach.

We’ve built partnerships with trusted providers including Milkwell Lactation, Held massage and doula services, Arch Wellness community providers, PSI NJ, Pockets of Light, and Courage in Time.

These connections allow us to provide comprehensive support that extends beyond our therapy sessions.

What are the fees for service?

We believe therapy should be accessible and tailored to your needs. While our fees aren’t listed on our website, we’re committed to helping you find the right support within your budget. Our practice includes multiple practitioners with varying fee structures, as well as more affordable workshops and group sessions.

During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss fees transparently and explore options that work for you, whether that’s within our practice or through a thoughtful referral.

We operate as an out-of-network provider, but we’ve created a comprehensive guide to help you navigate your insurance benefits. This resource walks you through all the questions to ask your insurance company and includes the CPT codes for our services.

Many of our clients successfully receive partial reimbursement, and we’re happy to provide superbills and guidance throughout this process.

Finding the right therapist with specific expertise can significantly impact your treatment outcomes. Our clinicians have extensive specialized training in areas like perinatal mental health and couples therapy, allowing us to provide more tailored and effective care. 

Working with us out-of-network also offers greater privacy, as your treatment details remain confidential between us. While your insurance may cover some providers, our specialized approach often leads to more efficient and personalized results.

How do I access the client portal on Theranest?

New clients will receive a welcome email with instructions to create your confidential profile in our secure client portal where you’ll complete your intake paperwork. 

If you haven’t received this invitation, please contact our care coordinator at admin@therapystory.net.

If you can’t remember your password, simply click the “Forgot Password” link on the login page and follow the instructions to reset it. 

The system will guide you through creating a new secure password to access your account.

To change your password, log into your TheraNest account, click your name in the top right corner, and select “My Profile and Settings” from the dropdown menu. 

Click the “Change Password” tab, enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password.

The client portal can be accessed at https://sklcsw.mytheranest.com/home/login.

We recommend bookmarking this page for convenient access to your appointments, documents, and therapy resources.

Our secure client portal allows you to complete intake paperwork, view upcoming appointments, access teletherapy sessions, and communicate with your therapist in a confidential environment. 

It’s designed to make your therapy experience seamless and convenient.

When you join Therapy Story, you’ll receive a secure, HIPAA-compliant Zoom link specific to your provider. This link will be used for all your virtual sessions.

We recommend saving the link, but if you need it again, you can email admin@therapystory.net or contact your provider directly right before your session.
